Val Kersley
Val was the widow of Reg Kersley and both were staunch supporters of RAFOS since it’s inception and also were founder members of the Singapore branch of RAFOS. Hers was a regular presence at the Annual General Meetings of RAFOS and also at weekend gatherings at Portland, Chew, etc, where, amongst other things, she prepared lunches and evening meals for the members.
She passed away in October and will be sadly missed.
Her funeral took place on Wed 13 Nov 2019 at the West Wiltshire Crematorium, Trowbridge, Wilts and was attended by family members and friends including six RAFOS members. Eulogies and appropriate music were a fitting and moving tribute to Val.
