Pete, a long-term stalwart of RAFOS since the mid sixties, passed away on Monday 15 January 2018 after a long illness. His funeral is on Thursday 1st February. He is sadly missed.

On the 1st February five RAFOS members (Dave and Anne Bodley, Alex Smith, and Ken and Sally Earnshaw plus Frank Smith) attended Pete’s funeral along with Pete’s family and relatives and a large gathering of friends to pay their final respects in a manner befitting the high esteem in which he was held. His daughter Deborah eloquently gave an illuminating tribute to her father which was very moving.
